About Me

Cara Jaklich

Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Owner

Hi! My name is Cara, and I am a proud BCBA who passionately partners with schools and families to help children reach their fullest potential. I believe meaningful growth happens when teams work collaboratively to create supportive, individualized, and student-centered environments.

My goal is to help schools build programming and decision-making practices that prioritize the unique needs of each student while fostering positive, lasting outcomes for children, educators, and families alike.

I am also deeply committed to empowering families by helping them better understand their child’s IEP, educational programming, and support services. Navigating the special education process can feel overwhelming, and I strive to provide guidance, clarity, and advocacy so families feel confident when participating in decisions about their child’s education. I am passionate about connecting families with meaningful resources and supports that align with their child’s unique strengths and needs, helping create a collaborative path toward success both at school and at home.

Experience You Can Trust

Over the past seven years, I have had the opportunity to support children and families across a wide range of settings. My experience includes providing clinical ABA services as a behavior technician, supporting individuals with intensive needs in residential care, and working in schools to implement proactive, supportive strategies that help students succeed. These experiences have shaped the compassionate, practical support I can now provide to families and school teams.

In addition to my professional experience, my educational journey has deepened my understanding of behavior. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Autism and Developmental Disabilities, with a focus on Emotional Disability and trauma-informed practices in schools.

I am passionate about combining evidence-based practices with real-world, hands-on support to help children, families, and educators feel empowered and connected. My goal is to work collaboratively with families and schools to help each child grow, build confidence, and thrive to their fullest potential.
